Dr Andrew Hartland

I am currently Consultant Chemical Pathologist and Medical Lead for Obesity Services at Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust. Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust is a Tertiary Referral Centre for Bariatric Surgery.

I also serve as member of the Council of the Pathology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and organised that sectionÙs Obesity Conference in 2006.

Prior to returning to Walsall I was a Consultant at North West London Hospitals NHS Trust (Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals). In that capacity I set up the North West London Hospitals Weight Management Clinic with Dr Anthony Leeds.

Outside medicine I am a keen supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, an activity hindered by wife Vickie and children Emily, Alexander and Gabriel.
